The 8th graders will be learning about Church History this year! This is a fascinating course to teach and I hope my passion for the course comes through in my teaching.
Christ Our Life: What's My Child Learning The 8th graders will also be using the YouCat. In this course, the students will learn how to defend the Catholic Faith. Finally, starting in January, we will begin preparing for Confirmation. By January, a students will need to choose a sponsor (must be 16, Catholic, faith-filled, someone the student can talk to). The date for Confirmation is Thursday, March 16th, 2017. All of the students will participate in Confirmation prep but only the Catholic students will get Confirmed. Topic 2: An Age of Nation States:
