I am posting the long answer questions on here in order to conserve paper.
In what ways has geography benefited and challenged Japan? Think about: climate, landforms, and the advantages and disadvantages of islands. Describe the feudal system in Japan. Think about: who held power, the network of relationships and loyalties, and the importance of private armies. As I mentioned earlier today, there are document based questions on this test. Remember that your chapter 8 test is on Wednesday and your review is due on Tuesday!
Today we finished the lesson on Japanese Feudalism. You need to understand Feudalism in Japan because we are going to talk about Feudalism in Europe in the next chapter and you are going to need to be able to compare the two. You were assigned the lesson 3 review for homework; it is due tomorrow.
