We have started our study of the Hebrew people. You were assigned the lesson 1 review (pg329:1-7) yesterday and it will be due on Monday. You will have a plickers quiz over lesson 1 on Monday as well. Below are the notes and the answers to the EQs and RQs.

Since I wasn't here yesterday to help you understand the math lesson, all we did in history today was take the quiz and you turned in your homework. Monday, we will start lesson 2.
Since I was not here yesterday, I am posting the answers to the essential question and review question from the last section of the lesson 1. I am also posting the notes below.
EQ3 - The Kushite city of Meroe was an important economic center because it was located on the Nile along trade routes and had access to gold and iron. RQ3 - Meroe was economically important because of its location on the Nile which made it ideal for trade with Egypt and ironworking at Meroe was a source of many trade items. |
