This year, the students are learning about early World History and a bit of prehistory. More so, the students are going to learn how to successfully answer long answer questions, taking notes, how to study, etc.
The students have access to an online version on the book through the MyWorldHistory website on the right. The students know their logins. 1. Why did Jewish leaders and Roman officials in Judea fell threatened by Jesus? Think about (1) Rome's relationship with Judea and Jews, (2) Jesus' activities and teachings, (3) the claims Jesus's followers made about him.
2. Explain why Christians in the Roman Empire were first tolerated, then persecuted. Think about (1) Roman attitudes toward foreign beliefs, why Roman leaders came to fear Christianity, (3) Emperor Nero's actions. As a reminder, your chapter 13 test will be on Thursday, May 5th. Below are the long answer questions; be sure you are addressing all three "think about" points in your answer.
